Cashew Bars


It’s really quite a funny thing. I used to love Lars Bars, in fact my favorite was the Cashew Cookie one. Well, after making these, that is most definitely not the case anymore. I like mine loads better. Now, this isn’t a horn tooting statement as much as it is a personal preference. So if you think they stink in comparison, well maybe your taste buds stink. Haha just kiddingggg! Your taste buds are prob fantastic.

So remember when I did this? and I said it was awesome and I wanted to try a million other variations of it soon? Welp, I did.

Mine ended being a bit larger than the Lara Bar size.

>Serves: 3-4
>Prep time: 5 minutes
>Cook time: zilch

1/2C packed dates
1/4C + 1tbsp cashews
1 tbsp melted coconut oil

1. Add all ingredients into your food processor.
2. Process your ingredients until a gooey mess forms.
3. Mold yer bars. You can make them in any size or shape! Whatever your little heart desires! (I layed a piece of tin foil over a toaster oven sized bake sheet and used the ridge to get my form, and then folded the tin foil over to make then even and smooth).
