Duuuuuuudee. This recipe was fan-frickin-taaaastic. It’s supposed to serve 4-6 people, but it ended up serving 3 instead…. It’s not my fault it was so freaking delicious! This recipe is from the Paleo Parent‘s recently released cookbook, Beyond Bacon: Paleo Recipes that Respect the Whole Hog. Before making the Piggy Pot Pie, I made the brownies in this cookbook. The brownies were yummy, but this, my friend, this lovely Piggy Pot Pie recipe, is now something that I will be making as often as I possibly can.
Just look at the flaky crust!!!!!!! Mmmmm, do I have plans for this little crust/biscuit recipe. Guess I should pick up some more pig fat so I can make more lard. *Drooling*
